ANDY ROBINSON is an Exeter-based Writer/Director, and the person behind the Seasons of War short film.

Originally from East London (born half a mile from where another East-ender, Alfred Hitchcock, grew up), Andy fell in love with both the still & moving image from an early age. He later gained a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Plymouth - specialising in Photography. Post-graduation, Andy gravitated towards filmmaking - assisting on low-budget productions as well as making his own. After moving to Devon, Andy embarked on making what became Exeter’s first independently-produced feature film - The Forewarning, and since then he has made a number of short films that have screened on the film festival circuit. Most recently Keepsake - a love story about a couple dealing with the impact of Alzheimer’s, was selected for the Plymouth International Film Festival.

Andy is currently working on a screenplay for his second feature film, called Synchronicity, and having most definitely dipped his toe in the water with Seasons of War, he is more determined than ever to direct an episode of Doctor Who someday...
